AT&T will host its first-ever live streamed esports event beginning on April 2. The AT&T Annihilator Cup will pit top Twitch streamers against one another for a $100K USD prize.
The event will span five games and five weeks with the top competitor each week earning an additional $5K. Selected games for the Annihilator Cup include Apex Legends, Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, Mortal Kombat 11, Halo3, and Among Us.
AT&T has recently expanded its activity in the esports space, signing a multi-year partnership deal with 100 Thieves. The company also last year became the presenting sponsor of Cloud9’s all-women Valorant team, Cloud9 White.
