North American esports organisation Panda Global has appointed Dave Riggs, the former Vice President of Integrated Sales & Talent Marketing for professional wrestling company WWE, as its new Sales and Sponsorships Strategist.
Riggs has 25 years of experience in initiating unique partnerships and endorsements, especially during his time at WWE where he was instrumental in securing partnerships with brands such as Fruity Pebbles, Capri Sun, and Snickers.

Throughout his tenure, Riggs has also represented top sports and entertainment personalities in the past, such as John Cena, Cam Newton, Erin Andrews, Giancarlo Stanton and the Bella Twins.
Dave Riggs, Panda’s new Sales and Sponsorships Strategist commented: “I am excited about the opportunity to join Panda. With esports continuing to grow and evolve, Panda presents a unique offering to brands through its platform.
“I look forward to getting started and contributing to the growth of the organisation through innovative and mutually beneficial partnerships.
According to the release, Panda feels that its portfolio is ‘very similar’ to what Riggs has successfully represented in the past. Moreover, the esports organisation is said to be ‘looking forward to seeing what innovative and exciting partnerships’ he can secure with the team.

Riggs will be working with Panda to further expand their sales team as the organisation continues its expansion into 2021.
Esports Insider says: Dave Riggs has a lot of experience working in the marketing industry which has seen him create a multitude of partnerships with big brands. Him going to Panda Global should continue that trend. This is a new challenge for Riggs, and his first step into esports, but one that should be successful.
