U.K.-based university esports organizer The NUEL has signed a partnership deal with clothing brand Levi’s. The brand will serve as The NUEL’s main sponsor for its Winter 2020 season.
The Levi’s logo has been embedded on The NUEL’s website and social media alongside fellow partner Twitch Student.
With the continued restrictions placed on traditional sports due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, scholastic esports has received a greater spotlight in recent months. Leading U.S. collegiate esports company Collegiate StarLeague was recently acquired by Playfly Sports, and announced a partnership with the HBCU Esports Alliance last month.
