The second season of Fall Guys will hit in two months’ time and bring with it a host of new levels and skins with a medieval theme.
By October PlayStation 4 owners will have to pay to download Fall Guys, instead of getting it free on PlayStation Plus, but considering it’s already sold 7 million copies on Steam that’s unlikely to put much of a dent in its popularity.
Importantly, developer Mediatonic has already got plans in motion for the next season of content, which it revealed at Gamescom’s Opening Night Live event would have a medieval theme.
As you’d expect, that means lots of new skins including things like a dragon, knight, witch, Viking, Valkyrie, and more.
There’ll also be several new levels, although you better not blink when you watch the video above or you’ll miss them.
As well as period appropriate obstacles like swinging axes there’s also a lot of moving blocks to be done, as well as jumping off ramps and through giant rings.
There’s no exact launch date for season 2 yet but since Fall Guys came out at the beginning of August it suggests that seasons are set to last a little over two months.
This is only Fall Guys’ first one since launch but seeing as it’s already got some licensed skins in there it probably won’t be long till it starts having massive cross-promotional events like Fortnite’s current Marvel extravaganza.
