Hitman 3 Adds "Long-Requested Suit" In First Major Patch

Hitman 3 received its first major post-release patch today, adding a slew of new content to the popular stealth game. Additions include new Deluxe Escalations, HUD updates, and a new unlockable suit – The Tactical Turtleneck.

The patch rolled out early this morning, clocking in between 2-3GB depending on your platform. If you’re running on Switch or Stadia, however, there’s no need for an update as you’ll automatically launch the latest version through the cloud. Here are a few of the highlights from the 3.11 update:

  • Tactical Turtleneck (Complete The Final Test at ICA Facility)
  • Deluxe Escalation: The Proloff Parable
  • Deluxe Escalation: The Gauchito Antiquity
  • Dartmoor Featured Contracts
  • Connectivity Fixes
  • Stability Fixes
  • Silent Assassin HUD Updates
  • Various Location Changes

Much of the content was teased earlier this year, including all of the new Deluxe Escalations. The Proloff Parable will see you slicing your way through targets with a katana, while The Gauchito Antiquity will have you poisoning a less-than-enlightened Guru.

Hitman 3 has received constant updates through February, although there’s no doubt the latest 3.11 patch is the game’s largest. IO Interactive also recently added the ability for PC players to port over levels from Hitman 1 and 2, giving you several new levels to work through.

IO Interactive announced last month that Hitman 3 was already turning a profit less than a week after launch. It seems that the move to self-publish the trilogy’s conclusion is paying off in a big way, and the team is “already looking to the future” with upcoming expansions and additions.

While the Hitman 3 team continues plugging away on the popular title, another IO team is hard at work on an untitled 007 game. Little is known about the mysterious title, but the Hitman team is hopeful their colleagues will leverage their “disguise stealth” expertise if needed. Unlike 47, Bond isn’t known for his ability to don hundreds of unique costumes – although it’s not out of the realm of possibility with IO at the helm.

Hitman 3 is now available on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Switch, and PC.
