Pokemon Go Finally Adds Zorua Following Recent Stat Glitch

Pokemon Go fans will probably be aware that Niantic's plans to introduce Zorua – the adorable little prankster that can take on the appearance of other Pokemon – didn't go very well. Zorua and its evolved form Zoroark had yet to be introduced to Pokemon Go, and plans were in place to have the 'mon debut a few days ago while the game's Halloween event is currently ongoing.

Unfortunately, a rather serious bug forced Niantic to pull Zorua from the game entirely. As a fun little nod towards Zorua's in-game ability, it took on the form of the player's Buddy Pokemon instead of appearing in the wild as a regular Zorua. However, the bug meant that not only was a Buddy Pokemon's appearance copied over, but so was its CP and moveset, giving players the chance to equip Zorua with moves it shouldn't be able to learn naturally.

Thankfully, Niantic has swiftly fixed this bug and Zorua has now been readded to Pokemon Go in time for the spooky weekend. While a lot of the surprise has been ruined by this unfortunate glitch, it's nice that players have been given plenty of opportunities to go out and nab one before the event ends.

In other spooky Pokemon news, another new 'mon from the soon to be released Pokemon Scarlet & Violet was introduced to fans recently, an adorable little ghost dog called Greavard. While he looks as cute as a button, you probably shouldn't get too close, as the Pokemon unknowingly drains the life force of those he gets near. We see this in Greavard's reveal trailer, as he makes a lady collapse (possibly die) who was innocently playing fetch with him. Looks like Game Freak continues its traditions of making Ghost-types utterly horrible.
